I have worked within the commercial broking sector for 20 years, and have a robust and thorough knowledge of the commercial insurance sector, within East Anglia, London and South-East England. The continuing challenges posed by the COVID pandemic, Brexit & the Grenfell tragedy, have seen me working closely with my customers to react to the ever-changing insurance marketplace, and the many varied and complex issues that subsequently arise. I provide my customers with clear, concise and honest advice, providing them with ‘peace of mind’ that their insurance covers are fit for purpose.

Away from insurance, I enjoy mountain biking, football and disc-golf. I also enjoy spending time with my fiancee, and her children; all of us are long-suffering supporters of Ipswich Town.

With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, I began my career in the City of London, working with a specialist Property underwriter at Lloyd’s. After starting a family, I left the daily commute behind and transitioned to a local Insurance Broker, where I could continue my career while staying closer to home. Over the years, I’ve built a wealth of knowledge across various sectors, enabling me to offer expert guidance and tailored insurance solutions to a wide range of businesses.

As an Account Executive at Foxhall Risk Management, I take great pride in getting to know my clients and their businesses. Understanding their unique needs allows me to guide them through the complexities of insurance, finding the right cover at competitive premiums. The best part of my job is building lasting relationships with my clients, watching their businesses grow, and being there to support them every step of the way.

Outside of work, I enjoy life on my family’s smallholding. We have horses, breed Boer goats, and occasionally raise weaners for the freezer—after all, who doesn’t love home-reared bacon? Spending time outdoors with my family is a refreshing balance to my professional life and a reflection of my passion for the agricultural industry, which is a key area of specialisation in my career.

I am a seasoned professional with over four decades of experience in insurance. With a particular emphasis on commercial claims, I have always enjoyed helping customers in times of need and working with insurers to achieve fair claims settlement.

Away from insurance I have had a life long interest in sport both as an observer and participant. After many years playing basketball, squash and running marathons, including London and Amsterdam, my knees told me getting on a bike would be a better option which I now enjoy for leisure, particularly on the traffic free cycle paths in Europe. With grown up children now making their own way in the world, I enjoy the freedom of being outdoors as much as possible.

Having completed my certificate in insurance, I am now working my way towards obtaining the Diploma and completing my formal apprenticeship.

As an Account Handler at Foxhall Risk Management I enjoy assisting clients in making changes to their policies and aiding the executives in preparing renewal and quotation documents.

Outside of work I enjoy reading, drawing, walking, and learning to play the guitar.
